I'm ditching Sales Navigator

So I'm manually prospecting on LinkedIn instead of using automation.

And it's working better than anything I've tried.

Let me explain.

Everyone's obsessed with building these perfect Sales Navigator lists - filtering by industry, company size, etc etc.

The problem is you're getting the same people everyone else is targeting.

Plus, Sales Navigator only shows you a sample - maybe 2,000 people when there are wayyy more out there.

So here's what I'm doing instead.

I find one person who's exactly my ideal client.

Someone I really respect in my target industry.

Then I go to their profile and look at the "More profiles for you" section on the right side.

This is LinkedIn's algorithm showing me people similar to this person.

And because I started with someone legit, the suggestions are gold.

I'll open 5-6 of these profiles in new tabs.

If they're good fits, I connect with them during business hours when they're online.

The acceptance rate is insane - like 20 minutes and I get an acceptance.

But then…

…I go to THEIR connections and mine those too.

I'm finding people I would never discover through traditional searches.

High-level executives who somehow slip through the cracks of Sales Navigator filters.

Last week, I maxed out my 50 weekly connection requests in a single day using this method.

Every single person was someone I actually wanted to talk to.

Is it slower than automation?

Yes.

Is it 10x more effective?

I think so.

The theme of my life right now is: yes, you can build an AI to automate everything, but the thing you're going to do manually is only going to take you 20 minutes, and it's going to be 10 times better.

You might as well just do it.
