how I'm using AI more for LinkedIn
I used to be really anti-AI writing.
I'd always say "AI is never going to write well" and "it's really important to write clearly" and "it's really important to write like yourself."
I still believe those things.
But LinkedIn is becoming more and more formulaic as a platform.
It's asking for more template-based content.
The algorithm responds better to proven structures than original thought.
And the more I don't try to bring my brain to LinkedIn, the happier I am.
So I've built a system where AI handles the structure and I provide the insights.
I feed it ideas from my calls and expertise.
It handles the formatting and templates.
I edit for voice and accuracy.
The result?
I can create a week's worth of LinkedIn content in 10 minutes instead of hours.
But the AI isn't thinking for me.
It's just handling the busywork.
I still need to provide the unique insights, the real experience, the stuff that matters to my audience.
Value gets you likes.
But insight gets you cash.
Think of it like a recipe.
If you gave away the full recipe (value), people would maybe try to cook it themselves.
But if you shared why the dish works and what makes it special (insight), you'd get people interested in your restaurant.
AI can help with the recipe.
It can't replace the chef's knowledge.
I'm not massively excited about this shift, honestly.
But I'd rather spend my brain power on strategy and client work than fighting LinkedIn's algorithm.
