How I Broke Through the $30k/month Plateau
Hey there,
I grew my agency to $5M entirely with LinkedIn inbound. No cold emails. No ads. Just content, referrals, and clients coming to me.
It was not easy. When I was trying to scale past 20-30k/month, I noticed something.
My network had gone stagnant. The same people were engaging with my posts. I wasn’t reaching new audiences or building new relationships. It felt like I’d hit a wall.
I started questioning everything. Should I try outbound? Ads? Maybe a more complex funnel? It felt overwhelming, and none of it seemed like the right fit.
Instead, I decided to try something simple: connection request campaign.
Here’s exactly what I did:
I used Sales Nav to find people I actually wanted to connect with and interacted with their content. A thoughtful comment or a quick like was enough to get on their radar.
I sent a blank connection request. No message. No pitch. Just the request.
Once they accepted, I followed up with a short and friendly message.
Something like:
“Hey [First Name], great to connect. I really liked your post about [topic].”
That was it. No selling. No overcomplicating. Just a casual conversation starter.
At first, I wasn’t sure it would work. It felt too simple. But slowly, things started to change.
→ My content began reaching new people.
→ My network grew with prospects who aligned with my services.
→ People started reaching out again, ready to work with me.
It reminded me why I loved inbound in the first place. Building relationships that felt natural.
If your network feels stagnant or stuck, I’ve been there. Connection requests are not about pitching or pushing. They are about starting conversations that lead to opportunities later.
Sometimes, the simplest approach is the one that works best.

P.S. I use Prosp.ai to set up connection request campaigns to my lead list every single day. It’s packed with automation workflows for things like sending follow-ups and even voice notes. Trust me, it’s the best tool you can use for LinkedIn.
