Fix Your Thank You Page

Hey there,

You’ve probably seen me talk about lead magnets a ton—I’m obsessed.

I post about them all the time on LinkedIn because they WORK.

Every time I put out a lead magnet, I book 30+ qualified calls.

But it’s not just the lead magnet doing all the work. What happens AFTER someone downloads it is just as important.

A lot of my coaching students ask me:

“How do I get people who download my lead magnet to actually book calls?”

The key is the THANK YOU page.

Most people slap together a generic “Thanks, check your inbox” message and call it done. That’s a huge missed opportunity.

Your thank you page should:

1️⃣ Keep their attention while they’re still engaged.

2️⃣ Guide them to take the next step.

Here’s how I set mine up:

  • VSL (Video Sales Letter): A short video that talks to the lead about their problem, shows them how to use the resource, and builds trust.

  • CTA (Call-to-Action):

    For top-of-funnel leads (like a swipe file), the CTA moves them further down the funnel (e.g., joining my Skool community).

    For bottom-of-funnel leads (like a case study or calculator), the CTA encourages them to book a call right away.

This works because it’s simple and gives them a clear next step.

If your thank you page isn’t doing this, you’re leaving money on the table.
