DM scripts that work

Every week, I post a lead magnet and bring in a thousand leads.

And these should be the easiest people to close.

They’re already in your inbox. They literally asked for your resource. It’s not like you’re cold pitching them out of nowhere. Closing them should be simple.

Except it’s not.

Most people fumble at this stage. They assume every lead is ready to buy and hit them with some awkward pitch right away.

I used to do the same thing.

Back in 2023, I wasted hours in my DMs sending the same bland "How can I help you?" message to everyone. One of my clients was making the same mistake.

I showed her the "concerned doctor" approach.

Because a good doctor doesn’t walk in and say, "Let’s get you into surgery." They ask questions. They diagnose before they prescribe.

Same thing applies here. Instead of jumping into a pitch, use this simple three-question framework:

  1. "How did you find the [lead magnet]?" (Gets them talking)

  2. "What’s your biggest challenge with [topic]?" (Reveals pain points)

  3. "I've helped [similar business] solve that exact problem. Want to see how?" (Easy transition to a call)

The difference? She stopped trying to sell to everyone and started qualifying first. No more wasting time on people who were never going to buy.

More leads won’t fix your sales problem. Better conversations will.

If your agency is doing $20k-$40k/month and you’re ready to scale to $100k+/month, reply “READY” or click below to book a call. I’ll show you exactly how my students are getting there with LinkedIn.

Cheers,

Tim

P.S. The next "Modern Agency Sales" cohort starts soon, and spots are limited to ensure everyone gets personal attention. Don't overthink this one.
