Booked Out for the Month with Just One Post
One LinkedIn post.
5,000 leads.
20 calls booked.
Crazy, right? My DMs were flooded.
How did it happen? Lead magnets.
You’ve probably seen all those “comment to get” posts blowing up on LinkedIn lately.
They work—and I mean really work.
But trends like this don’t last forever. If you’re not doing it already, you’re leaving money on the table.
Most people screw this up, though. They try to hold back, keeping their best stuff behind a paywall.
The ones that convert like crazy follow a dead-simple formula:
Show the work. Share something real and actionable like a deep dive into your SOPs or best strategies.
Package it right. Swipe files, step-by-step guides, templates—make it easy for people to use.
Give away the farm. Don’t hold back. If it doesn’t hurt a little to share it, it’s probably not good enough.
Now I follow a simple structure every time:
Start with a quick intro video to build trust.
Lay out clear action steps with a “why” behind each one.
Add a resource list to make life easier.
Include a step-by-step plan so there’s no guesswork.
Transition naturally to whatever you’re selling.
The key step: Keep it simple.
Write it like you’re explaining to a 10-year-old. Add links to helpful stuff. And make sure the value you’re giving is worth at least $100.
Lead magnets aren’t new.
They’ve been around forever because they work.
When you give your best work away for free, you build trust. Trust turns into relationships, and those relationships turn into business.
Your task for the week:
What's one valuable piece of content you can turn into a lead magnet?
Reply with your thoughts, and I’ll respond with a tip to refine that into something powerful.
Best,
Tim
